The female breast base in men – cause and effects of the female breast shape

The female breast shape in men is mainly formed by fatty tissue and to a lesser extent by the male mammary gland. Men with a female breast often suffer from low self-esteem and self-confidence. Visiting swimming pools, saunas and beach holidays is often unpleasant for those affected and is avoided. The annoying breasts can be gently removed in order to permanently improve the overall silhouette through the male rib cage. This form of breast surgery is also called breast reduction in men.

Procedure of breast reduction surgery for gynecomastia

In the case of gynecomastia, the mammary gland usually has to be surgically removed via a small incision in the skin, which later heals extremely inconspicuously. The fatty tissue is permanently removed by liposuction, as in the case of an annoying abdominal base or a double chin. Therefore, the same criteria apply here as for liposuction. Our liposuction is particularly gentle, both through the use of tumescent solution, which loosens the fatty tissue, locally anesthetizes the tissue and reduces bleeding, and through suction via thin cannulas using vibration technology; the suction cannula is set into fine oscillations and gently loosens the fat cells. This also makes the modeling of the male breast much more precise. Although this procedure extends the duration of the operation, which is primarily performed on an outpatient basis, the risk of surgery is minimized – your safety comes first.
