Fine lines become wrinkles
Botulinum toxin is now the treatment of choice when it comes to anti-ageing wrinkle treatment for so-called “learned” wrinkles, which are dynamically created by repeated muscle tension. These repeated muscle movements lead to the formation of fine wrinkles, which deepen as they progress and are then visible as deep wrinkles even when the muscles are relaxed. As a muscle relaxant, botulinum toxin reduces this strong muscle activity. The skin has the opportunity to relax. As a result, even deep wrinkles can be smoothed out.
Our tip: If the anti-ageing wrinkle treatment with botulinum toxin does not lead to sufficient wrinkle smoothing, there is a chance that a wrinkle injection with hyaluronic acid will improve the result.

Botulinum toxin can be used to treat dynamic wrinkles all over the face – from the wrinkles between the eyebrows (so-called glabellar wrinkles), forehead wrinkles (so-called worry lines), laugh lines at the sides of the eyes (also known as crow’s feet due to the shape of the wrinkles), lower eyelid wrinkles (creases), nose wrinkles (bunny lines) and wrinkles between the eyes (so-called wrinkles). The wrinkles between the eyebrows (so-called glabellar lines), forehead wrinkles (so-called worry lines), laugh lines at the side of the eyes (also known as crow’s feet due to the shape of the wrinkles), lower eyelid wrinkles (creases), nose wrinkles (bunny lines) in the area of the upper nasal root, upper lip wrinkles (so-called smoker’s lines) and the corners of the mouth (marionette lines).
Botulinum toxin can also be used to treat the muscle cords on the neck (platysma cords) and the muscles on the chin (also known as the cobblestone chin due to the irregular, cobblestone-like structure of the skin surface).
