Soft Lifting

Natural lifting without a scalpel for face and neck – who doesn’t want that? This is possible with soft lifting or soft lifting with threads, although the tightening effect is of course not comparable to a facelift (= surgical facelift). In contrast to a “major” surgical facelift, the soft lift is about a lower tightening effect. The effect takes place via the formation of new connective tissue and the reconstruction of the collagen supporting structure. The regeneration of the skin improves the skin structure and the depth of wrinkles is reduced by increasing the tissue volume. The lifting needles contain threads made of polydioxanone (PDO), a material that has been used worldwide as a surgical suture material in operations for decades. This dissolves completely after about 6-8 months and a new collagen framework of the skin is built up. The formation of new collagen is completed after about 3 months and the final effect is achieved. This effect should last for about 1.5 years. Further treatment is possible at any time without any problems. In addition to the smooth, self-dissolving threads, we also use absorbable threads with a kind of corrugation, which, in addition to the formation of new collagen, have a slight traction effect on the corresponding skin structures (e.g. cheek and lower jaw region). This effect is immediately visible. Good results can be achieved in the area of the face (forehead and temple area, eyebrows, cheeks and jaw area) and neck. For other areas of the body (tightening of the breast, buttocks, arms or legs), the effects are not sufficient in our view, so we do not use them here.

When and where?

The new soft thread lift can be used at the first signs of sagging in the face, where a complete total face lift associated with a surgical procedure does not yet seem to be given or is not desired. But even in the case of advanced wrinkle formation, you could benefit significantly from the use of soft thread lifting.

Natural lifting without surgical interventions

You may have thought about lifting or tightening the face or other areas, such as the neck. Until now, this required surgery with correspondingly high costs and risks. An undesirable change in the facial structure was also often unavoidable. Soft lifting with lifting threads offers a gentle alternative without a scalpel.

The treatment of soft lifting

The soft lift is performed by Dr. Constantinescu. The soft lifting treatments with lifting threads are painless because the corresponding areas are anesthetized locally beforehand. The number of threads to be inserted depends on the area to be tightened and your wishes. The 100% absorbable threads are inserted under the skin with the help of a very thin guide needle and form a stable network. In this case, the tensile tension of the threads makes the skin structure in the treated area clearly visible again, but also natural-looking, and the tissue is lifted back in the direction of its original position. The needles are removed and what remains is an invisible thread structure. Side effects, such as slight swelling or bruising, can occur and are related to the number of sutures placed. However, these are unproblematic, can be covered with make-up and subside quickly. During a treatment, various areas can be tightened. A combination with other therapies, e.g. hyaluronic acid injections, is also possible.
